Please Help Haiti's Forgotten Orphans
Live, Learn and Hope Again
Our Haiti Orphans are survivors. Your help brings food, clothing, education and a future directly into their lives.
OUR MISSION
"Our Haiti Orphans" concentrates on the orphans in one rural area near Anse-a-Galets on Isle de la Gonave, Haiti.
Violent hurricanes, earthquakes and waves of disease have left close to a hundred children counting on us. Without parents to feed them, clothe them and pay tuition, even the youngest children must work. Thanks to people like you, "Our Haiti Orphans helps some of the neediest children in the world.
"Our Haiti Orphans" is a tax deductible 501(c)3 registered as Orphans of the Isle de la Gonave D'Haiti.
FOOD & CLOTHING
We bring food and clothes directly to the orphans of La Gonave, Haiti. Your contribution of $50 can feed a child for a month, but any amount is welcome.
WELLBEING
We have set up a temporary health clinic to make sure the children stay as well as possible. A donation of $100 or more will help keep it running and stocked with medicine and other supplies. A greater amount will help us build a church and permanent health clinic.
EDUCATION & SCHOOL SUPPLIES
There's nothing like an education to secure a better future. For $250 per child, you can provide a child with tuition, books and a mandatory school uniform for an entire year. For $150 per child we can fill a backpack with school supplies and other necessities that will last a whole year.
ORPHANAGE AND SCHOOLHOUSE
Our dream is to build an orphanage and school for our Haiti orphans. We need partners and sponsors! We are looking for volunteers with expertise in planning, building, maintaining and teaching in a combination home and school. Conact us if you have questions, suggestions or material!
Checks for tax deductible donations can be made out to Orphans of Isle de La Gonave D'Haiti.

Why are these children forgotten?
Most charities and organizations that provide help to Haiti send funds or services to the city of Port au Prince and other areas on the main island. Aid rarely gets to La Gonave, home to over 80,000 people making a simple living fishing, farming and scraping by.
With personal ties to the island and the village of Degoute, "Our Haiti Orphans"is making sure the neediest children of La Gonave don't fall between the cracks.

Amecia was born on La Gonave, Haiti and has been coming back to help orphans in need since 2005.

Henri is one of the children who count on "Our Haiti Orphans" for help and care.

We purchase rice, oil and other supplies for the children in Haiti, which helps support the local economy.

You're invited come along on a visit to meet the kids and help pass out food and supplies.
